Based on the Vauxhall Insignia, the new Zafira Tourer is 190mm longer than the existing Zafira and significantly bigger in every dimension.
It can be chosen with an array of driver aids and additional safety systems. These include: blind spot alerts, parking assistance, adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking with distance and relative speed alerts to the vehicle in front.
Engines include a downsized 1.4-litre turbo petrol option and a basic 1.8 petrol. Diesels comprise three versions of Vauxhall's CDTi 2.0-litre unit, with power outputs ranging from 110 to 165bhp.
The Zafira Tourer will go on sale early in 2012.
