A new Zafira is on it's way too - with a new version of the Flex7 seating system pioneered on the original Zafira, plus sleek styling and huge range of driver aids, the new Zafira Tourer promises a great deal.
The new Zafira Tourer shares many styling features with the Vauxhall Meriva, the stylish looks and neat features like an optional panoramic windscreen should give the Zafira Tourer a premium feel, but there are practical features too.
Flex7 has been expanded and now features three separate seats for the middle row, as well as a third row that disappears into the boot floor when not needed.
Based on the Vauxhall Insignia, the new Zafira Tourer is 190mm longer than the existing Zafira and significantly bigger in every dimension.
It can be chosen with an array of driver aids and additional safety systems. These include: blind spot alerts, parking assistance, adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking with distance and relative speed alerts to the vehicle in front.
Engines include a downsized 1.4-litre turbo petrol option and a basic 1.8 petrol. Diesels comprise three versions of Vauxhall's CDTi 2.0-litre unit, with power outputs ranging from 110 to 165bhp.
The Zafira Tourer will go on sale early in 2012.
