Hi everyone,
Just posting a quick note to introduce myself...
Not unfamiliar with forum sites and with the latest purchase being a Zaffi, I've joined up!
Awaiting delivery of the new machine. I'm told by the dealer that 15th June is d-day.
I've bought a Zafira Tourer 2.0CDTi Elite Auto in white. It has VXR bodykit, navi 600, front & rear light upgrades, active cruise and most of the other options. Will post full spec & pics upon delivery.

Hi, I new to this site so hi everyone. I bought a zafira 1.9cdti last week 2006 reg and it is making a squeally/squeaking noise when it has been driven about 8 miles, it doesn't do it at cold and when I brake it stops for a while. It is also intermittent too. Can anyone help with what this may be? Just bought a 2001 Zafira 1.6 Club yesterday, it's done 78k and in generally good condition but I got it home and noticed transmission fluid on the road and it gushing out of a small hole in the domed crown cover. The car made no noise whatsoever and still drives well. My mechanic said he's never known a vauxhalls crown etc to break and pierce the cover like this before, I have removed the cover myself and nothing dropped out but it appears the crown/cog has dropped causing it to effectively cut through the cover. Has this happened to anyone else before?? What was the final diagnosis/repair ?? Am I right in thinking the bearings for the driveshafts have failed causing this? If so does it require a new gearbox?? I'm not that mechanically minded, but would appreciate any advice etc. as I can't get my mechanic to look at it until Tuesday the earliest. Hi I just joined here.
I run a 52 reg. automatic, club. 18cc.
just written, I get 28 MPG on average short trips of three miles sometimes seven to my daughters.
My brother in law says this is not good?

Just to say hello, I have owned a 18cc automatic club for the last 5 years.same one.
didnt know about this forum
better late than never.
sorry I only know how to put petrol oil and top up water wash etc
not a mechanic.
