Just bought a 55 Zaf A 1.6 Life from a large independent dealer chain. It came with no handbook, but having found one online I see the recommended tyre pressures go up to 46psi (for rear tyres when fully laden). Unfortunately one of the rear tyres fitted says "max inflation 44psi". The other (non-matching) one doesn't seem to indicate a max pressure at all. Both front tyres say max 51psi.

Does this mean one/both rear tyres are not suitable for the car? Is there any way to check the pressure rating of the unlabelled one? And are they potentially dangerous even if not overinflated?

I'm quite experienced in consumer affairs so will take this up with the dealership if they are not right, but I'd like to be sure of my facts beforehand....

Thanks in advance for any help!
