I've been looking around for a diesel Zafira Tourer as the fuel consumption on my present 1.4T is disappointing to say the least. The 1.6L diesels are few and far between for the level of trim I'd like, but there is an abundance of 2L models available.

My question is, as there appears to be numerous versions of the 2L available, which one is the most fuel efficient (ignoring driving style and journey types)? As far as I can tell there's a CDTi 2.0 165, 170 & 195 (sometimes with a 'PS' afterwards) but not sure which is best.

I think all 3 have similar fuel consumption, most people have the 165hp and 170hp versions. The 170HP seems to be slightly better in fuel efficiency, but it depends on if you get the manual or automatic, the manuals are more efficient. The main issue with the 2.0cdti is the oil pickup tube seal failure, you should have that checked/replace if you buy the vehicle imo.
